Preservation North Dakota invites proposals of presentations and sessions for the annual Historic Preservation Conference. The conference theme is “Partners in Preservation.” We invite a broad range of proposals that may include educational or poster sessions and field work demonstrations, with an emphasis on hands-on preservation projects and techniques.

Possible sessions may include:

• Preservation Basics: A “How to” Guide
• Funding Preservation Projects
• National Register Nominations
• Marketing Preservation through Heritage Tourism
• Developing & Sustaining Non-profit Organizations
• Historic Homes: Buying, Selling, & Adaptive Reuse
• Preservation Success Stories

Other topics may include:

• Archaeology
• Local History
• Local Architects & Architecture
• Art & Culture
• Rural & Urban Issues
• Renaissance Zones
• Green Buildings

Submissions must include:

• Title of Presentation/Session & Brief Description (100 word maximum, for publication in conference program)
• Presentation/Session Format (single presentation, panel, etc.)
• Brief outline of presentation
• Presenter(s) Name(s), Biographical Information, & Photo (for publication in conference program)
• Equipment Needs (projector, screen, laptop, speakers, etc.)
• Primary Contact Information (Name, Address, Email, Phone, Fax)

Proposals must be received by 5:00 p.m. CST on Monday, January 11, 2010.
Electronic submissions will be accepted as PDF files.
