Visit the items on display in the Burdick Performing Arts Center at the International Peace Garden. Here you can bid on one-of-a-kind items, featuring unique specialty items including vacation and travel packages, artwork, gift certificates, gift baskets, books, handcrafted ethnic items, and much, much more!

Be sure to check back, and see if anyone has out-bid you! The winning bids will be announced during the Closing Plenary on Saturday, May 3 at 4 pm. Proceeds will benefit Preservation North Dakota.

National Register of Historic Places - US
The National Register of Historic Places, the nation's official list of cultural resources worthy of preservation. The National Register is administered by the National Park Service, which is part of the U.S. Department of the Interior. For information, contact the State Historical Society of ND 701-328-2666.

Heritage Designation - Canada
Canada's program of historical commemoration recognizes nationally significant places, persons and events of Canadian history. Designations of national historic significance are made by the Minister of the Environment on the advice of the Historic Sites and Monuments Board of Canada. For more information contact the Parks Canada National Office 1-888-773-888.

American Institute of Architects
Continuing Education Credits - US
AIA Members: ND's Historic Preservation Conference Sessions have qualified for AIA Continuing Education Credits. Credits can be obtained by accessing the AIA Continuing Education web site and filling out the self report forms at: www.aia.org/conted
A separate form is required for each session attended. Retain your conference program for verification.

Society for the Study of Architecture in Canada
SSAC: The SSAC is a learned society devoted to the examination of the role of the built environment in Canadian society. Its mem- bership includes structural and landscape architects, architectural historians and planners, sociologists, ethnologists, and specialists in such fields as heritage conservation and landscape history. Founded in 1974, the Society is currently the sole national society whose focus of interest is Canada's built environment in all its manifestations. www.canada-architecture.org/

Conference Parking
Conference attendees may use the parking lot by the Burdick Performing Arts Center at the International Peace Garden. Handicapped parking is available in marked locations.

Handicap Accessibility
Please contact Preservation North Dakota if you have any special needs; we will do our best to accommodate them. The International Peace Garden facilities are handicap accessible.
