2009 Rurik Ekstrom Historic Preservation Scholarship Recipient

Ann Erling – Bismarck, ND

Ann Erling is PND's 2009 Ekstrom Scholarship recipient. A senior at North Dakota State University, Annie will graduate in May with a degree in history. In addition to her studies, Annie has worked as an archival assistant in the Germans from Russia Heritage Collection at NDSU, an intern with the State Historical Society of North Dakota, and as a scriptwriter for Prairie Public Radio. Annie also currently serves as a student board member with Preservation North Dakota. Annie's achievements speak volumes of her dedication to preserving the architectural and cultural heritage of North Dakota.
