Northwest Hall - Mayville State University

Northwest Hall was built in 1911 as an infirmary for sick students at Mayville State University by architect J. Bell DeRemer of Grand Forks and Ole Korshus of Galesburg.

Northwest Hall had been repurposed several times over the years. Mayville Campus Preservation Society organized to oversee the rehabilitation of Northwest Hall into an alumni center for MSU.

This Prairie Places Grassroots Grant will assist MCPS obtain and hang a new paneled door (based on the original historic door), which will finish the restoration of the west portico.

Restoration Project Cost: $2,690
Prairie Churches Grassroots Grant: $1,300
Local Match: $1,390
